Heat Support for Hot Water Heating Loads
The HxO is a packaged water heater solution that provides optimal energy control between a hydronic boiler loop and a (domestic hot water) DHW or process water. Heat is extracted from the boiler loop through a very compact and efficient heat exchanger and is transferred to the cold domestic water supply. Each HxO model has been designed for an application with specific flow and temperature ranges on the process and boiler side.

Alstrom Semi-Instantaneous
Water Heaters
Alstrom Semi-Instantaneous Steam to Water Heaters represents a proven, economical solution for providing water for central heating, service and process applications. Steam condenses in the shell, and water is heated in the tubes. Due to small volume of water in the tubes, the steam control valve responds virtually instantaneously to water flow fluctuations. Also available in water-to-water designs.
Unique stand design permits vertical or horizontal installation depending on available space as well as easy tube bundle replacement.
Single or Double Tubesheet models provide an engineering solution for most applications including cross-non-contaminating requirements.
Alstrom Storage Tanks & Heaters
Alstrom storage tanks and storage heaters are designed for buildings where hot water consumption fluctuates over time or is subject to sudden increases in demand. These heaters consist of a vertical or horizontal storage tank made of 316 Stainless Steel and heating section that may be heated by steam, water, thermal fluid or other available heating media. The heating section may consist of two circuits that utilize two available heating mediums. The actual design of the heating section depends on the specific demands of a client.
Superior corrosion resistance of 316 Stainless Steel provides extended life expectancy of the system at costs competitive with conventional systems with lined tanks.
